Maribar Spinach Plant

Malabar spinach (Basella alba or Basella rubra) is a heat-loving, climbing vine grown as a leafy green vegetable. Despite its common name, it is not a true spinach, but it serves as an excellent warm-weather substitute for regular spinach because it thrives in intense summer heat and humidity where true spinach bolts and turns bitter.
